Port of Yingkou is consist of Yingkou harbor and Bayuquan District. YikouPort has a long history, river and coastal trade have existed more than 140 years, used to be the only open port of the northeast, and famous as the “good port for trading in East”. Enter into the 21st century, Port of Yingkou make great strides forward to be the deep water, professional and multi-functional modern port. By the end of 2003, Yingkou port has 29 productivity berths, 17 hundreds million deepwater berths. In 2004, the total volume of the throughput is 59.77 million tons, have a increase of 45.1%, the 583,000 TEU containers, which is 44.7% increase than 2003, and the general income reached 1 billion. Port’s cargo throughput reached 75.37 million tons and the freigh volume of containers reached 787,000.
